LED Lighting Pros and Cons

Many cities are drastically revising their street lighting by switching to LED based lighting. While these changes promise huge monetary savings, not everyone is thrilled with the new street lights. Here are two different points of view.

Shortly afterwards a group called Turn Down the Lights filed suit, contending that LED fixtures throw out a bright light that floods homes and streets and poses a hazard to motorists, walkers and wildlife.

These two articles, one from Forbes and the other from The Monterey Herald, help shine a light on the different viewpoints on LED lighting.
